Bi-Metal snap disc thermostat switches are a simple temperature switch control solution for many appliances, such as portable Onan generators. Senasys generator thermostats are a single function control, which can operate as a fan or limit up to 350°F. Generators may require two snap disc thermostats for both fan and limit control. When the generator’s surface temperature rises, the bi-metal disc inside the thermostat switch reacts opening or closing the circuit, powering on a generator’s fan or shutting down the equipment completely.
