908 Indicator Multilight Controls
The 908 indicator multilight controls are four independent lamp quadrants powered by 6VAC/DC to 240AC, use incandescent or high intensity LEDs to provide feedback to the operator.
These components are couple with 907 legend plates, 906 or 905 cover assemblies & PTC contact blocks to make a complete control. Complete controls can be ordered as individual parts.
We can create a custom unit to meet your application requirements. These units will be completely assembled & ready to mount with your customized text on the legend plates. The part number will start with the main operator type (i.e. 908). This will be followed by CMC & index number. These complete parts are assigned to the customer & kept on file just for you to meet your specification requirements in the future.

CMC 908 Indicator Multilight Controls are ideal for panel mount control systems. The four quadrant feedback light units provide the same functionality as a number of simpler switches but require much less panel space. The operating flexibility allows complex circuits to be setup with one switch, eliminating the need for other switches of logic components.
- Senasys CMC 908 Indicator Multilight Controls are suitable for use in NEMA 13 enclosures.
- They each have four lighted quadrants.
- Two or four transformers (120 or 240VAC).
- Jumpers are available for low voltage applications.
- Resistor boards available for 24V or 48V supply
- Each lamp is individually controlled
- Cover plates, color inserts, & legend plates are ordered separately.
Cover Plates & Color Inserts
The four selected color inserts snap into the legend plate. This sub-assembly then snaps into the cover plate to complete the front of panel assembly.
Cover plates & color inserts are offered together in one package under a single catalog listing. The four color inserts can be positioned in any of the four quarters of the total display area.
The colors plates are offered with three different edge styles:
- 906A/B – Gray
- 906E/F – Black
- 906G/H – Unpainted
Using the same first four digits (i.e. 906A) add four more digits in alphabetical order with each digit representing 2 colors. For example, two whites, a red, and a green would be 906AGRWW.
LED Cover Plates & Color Inserts
Cover plates, LEDs, & color inserts are offered together in one package under a single catalog listing. The four color inserts can be positioned in any of the four quarters of the total display area.
The LED color plates are offered with three different edge styles:
- 905A/B – Gray
- 905E/F – Black
- 905G/H – Unpainted
Legend Plates
Legend plates are transparent plastic parts on which word messages are displayed.
- Indicator Legend Plates – 907AUS
- Operator Indicator Legend Plates – 907BUS
Legend plates are offered with:
- Lettering positioned horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- Combinations of black & white lettering.
- Combinations of three different type sizes.
- The message the customer specifies.
Blank legend plates are available for customers preferring to do their own hot stamping, etching, engraving or silk screening of legend plates. Drafting mylar or film positives can also be positioned on the legend plate for custom panel appearance.
Three type sizes are offered in either black or white lettering for custom legends on blank legend plates.

Spring return is the direction the knob is turned by the internal spring force when the operator releases the knob.
For example, on a two position clockwise spring return device, the knob is turned from position 2 to position 1 by the operator. When the operator releases the knob, it spring returns to position 2 in a clockwise direction.
Ratchet means uni-rotational clockwise operation.
All CMC Indicator Units are part number 908AAA–. The last two digits are determined by the number of terminals and the type of lamps (see below). Unlighted units end in 67 for a complete part number of 908AAA67.
