Firestat
Duct Limit Controls
Firestat Duct Limit Switches are safety controls used in HVAC systems to monitor air temperature within ductwork. These switches feature a helix bi-metal element that reacts to rapid temperature increases. When the set point is exceeded, the element activates a snap action switch that opens or closes the circuit, shutting down heating, air conditioning, or ventilation systems.
