Description
Our 430-301A3 1/2″ Auto Reset Thermostat uses a bi-metal 1/2″ disc for snap action, positive & instantaneous opening or closing of electric circuits. The 1/2″ auto reset snap disc thermostats have a smaller footprint allowing for a lower cost than our other automatic reset thermostats.
The 430-301A3 1/2″ Auto Reset Thermostat can be specified for heating applications where the contacts break on temperature rise, or for cooling applicants where the contacts break on temperature fall. Temperature calibrations are preset, and all units are subject to 100% mechanical and thermal inspection.

Customer Service was very accessible and helpful on the phone (in identifying the part I needed). There was a delay in shipping – I’m not sure why, I had to call back to inquire and then the package arrived 2 days later. Switch was slightly out of spec on the high end (closed at 93°F instead of 95°, which placed it 2° below the +/- 5° variance). But I had low expectations for how reliable this snap thermostat would function for my specific project, so I wasn’t too concerned about that. Rating is an average for customer service (5) and product (3)

I guess I order the wrong one. i needed a normaly close thermostat . i received a normaly open thermostst.
