Senasys designs and manufactures a variety of manual reset food equipment thermostat switches to function as a limit (contacts open on temperature rise) to shut down a piece of equipment. These thermostats are commonly found in food and beverage equipment, such as hot beverage dispensers.
Each piece of equipment has a control, whether it be a mechanical capillary thermostat, automatic snap disc thermostat or electronic temperature controller. The control will function to turn a heating element on or off when the desired temperature is reached, click here for more information about our automatic reset thermostat switches. Beyond that control, a temperature limit switch is required in each unit where if the heating element temperature exceeds a set point, the contacts will open shutting the equipment down preventing harm. Because it’s a manual reset, the switch requires a human to check the system and trip the switch back to normal.
Common equipment that our manual reset thermostat switches can be found include:
- Large Hot Water Dispensers
- Coffee Pots
- Hot Food Warmers
