Capillary and Duct Limit Switches
At Senasys we design and manufacture a number of high limit switches including high limit capillary type thermostats and duct limit controls. A limiting device installed in a piece of equipment with a temperature setting that when the temperature is met either opens or closes a circuit. These are typically installed as a back-up or secondary control to prevent the equipment from exceeding a specified temperature, high or low. Capillary Thermostats →
A fluid is encapsulated in a metal and when the temperature changes the fluid either expands or contracts. This fluid change moves a diaphragm which is in touch with a snap action switch and either opens or closes a circuit. Common applications include; restaurant equipment, HVAC and other custom applications.
Duct Limit Switch →
These duct fan limit switches are installed in air ducts to shut down heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment when air temperature in duct exceeds a pre-set limit. These duct fan limit switches are available field adjustable up to 200°F or factory set fixed temperatures. Common applications include; HVAC and building automation systems.
