3/4″ Bi-Metal Snap Disc Thermostats

Senasys 3/4″ bi-metal snap disc thermostats are quality-engineered thermal sensors specifically designed for a variety of applications.

These robust thermostat switches can be used in high current applications; carrying up to 40 amps-240 Volts, for over 100,000 cycles. A 3/4″ bimetal thermodisc at the heart of our thermostat is set to a precise temperature range within 0°-350°F (-18°-176°C). Temperature calibrations are preset. To insure that a safe combination of thermostat and application is achieved, the purchaser must determine product suitability for their individual requirements.

Senasys 3/4″ bi-metal snap disc thermostats are available as three different types:

  • Automatic Reset
  • Epoxy Sealed Automatic Reset
  • Manual Reset
  • Single Shot

Automatic Reset

This type of control can be built to either open or close its electrical contacts as the temperature increases. Once the temperature of the bimetal disc has returned to the specified reset temperature, the contacts will automatically return to their original state.

Epoxy Sealed (Single Pole, Single Throw)

Senasys manufactures a 3/4″ epoxy sealed snap disc thermostat, 2570 series, which is a unique thermostat switch designed for extended use in extreme environments.

Epoxy Sealed (Single Pole, Double Throw)

The 416 series is the SPDT version of our encapsulated ¾” automatic reset snap disc. The encapsulated design creates a seal especially designed for refrigeration, air conditioning, and industrial applications, requiring a moisture and dust resistant enclosure.

Manual Reset

This type of control is available only with electrical contacts that open as the temperature increases. The contacts may be reset by manually pushing on the reset button after the control has cooled below the open temperature calibration.

Single Shot

The single shot thermostats are specifically designed as high limit devices for applications where automatically resettable thermostats are not desirable.
