The 432-301A1 1/2″ Manual Reset Thermostat are ideally suited for applications where you want to call special attention to a specific temperature malfunction. The 432 series can be used as a safety limit that will break on temperature rise. The thermostat must be manually reset once tripped requiring a human to intervene once tripped.

Often used as a fail-safe, these manual reset thermostat switches require the user to intervene before resuming operations. The bimetal disc will snap at the appropriate temperature separating the electrical contacts. The switch will remain “open” until the button on the back is pushed, moving the disc back into the “closed” position.

The 432-301A1 1/2″ Manual Reset Thermostat meets UL Standards 873 and 353 and is available in a single-pole, single-throw device. Temperature calibrations are preset, and all units are subject to 100% mechanical and thermal inspection.
