DIGITAL TEMPERATURE SWITCH NOMENCLATURE

D – Prefix

C – (1) This indicates the type of digital temperature switch. Senasys offers three different types of digital temperature switches: fixed (A), internal adjust (B) or operator adjust (C).

F – (2) The second placeholder defines what the digital temperature switch is programmed to do: Open on Temperature Rise (L), or Close on Temperature Rise (F).

1 – (3) Amperage. Our standard digital temperature switch uses a relay that is rated for 10 Amps @ 120VAC (01), but we also offer a 16 Amp version (02).

01 – (4) Sensor. The digital temperature switch is available with a variety of different sensor options such as a stand alone RTD (01), probe (02), or epoxy sealed RTD (03). Other custom sensor options are available.

A – (5) Power. The digital temperature switch does require power to operate. Our standard power supply is a 5VDC to 120VAC power supply (A).

XXX – (6) Fixed Version ONLY. There will be a required placeholder for the fixed versions of the temperature switch at the end of the part number to specify the switching temperature, differential and tolerance for the specific application.

DCF101A – Going by these guidelines, we can determine that this item is an operator adjustable digital switch, programmed to close on temperature rise between -50°F to 200°F using a stand along RTD sensor and 5VDC to 120VAC power supply.
